Library Services Scheduled Maintenance – Sunday 3rd July 2022 - What you can do to prepare

Remote Students

 Postal Book Loans

Eligible remote students are generally able to borrow the same material as internal students. However, the Library is unable to send books from closed collections such as the Reserve Collection, or books interlibrary loaned from other institutions.

  • Items are normally sent by regular mail.
  • Deliveries to the north-west of Western Australia and across state borders are dispatched by express post or by courier.
  • Loaned items will be returned at the expense of the borrower.
  • We will not send items outside of Australia.
Please contact us if there is no daily mail service in your location and you anticipate difficulties in returning the books before their due date.

Please note that materials returned by post remain the borrower's responsibility until received by the Library. Return by regular post carries a small risk of loss due to mishandling. Borrowers who are not willing to accept this risk should use registered mail.

All postal loans are subject to the Library's borrowing loan periods and fines and charges. More information is outlined at the links below.
