I would like to add a journal article that I can't find through the Library.

Ensure that these items comply with Copyright Considerations.

(If the below process is not possible for any reason, you can also follow the instructions for requesting a Book Chapter).

First you will need to add the Cite It! bookmark if you haven't already. Follow the instructions under the Adding Cite It! tab. Then continue to follow the instructions below.

  1. Find the webpage for the journal article that you would like to add. Even if it is just an abstract of the article, the details of the article will be brought into your list and provided to the Library.
  2. Click on the Cite It! bookmark on your browser.

  1. A pop up box will appear, that will auto-fill some information from that page.
NOTE: The Library recommends that you complete any missing information if possible, as this will be beneficial to your students when they refer to that webpage.

  1. At the bottom of the box, use the dropdown menu to select the Reading List you would like to add this resource to. You can start typing a course code to find the correct list.
