Multimedia

Try subject keyword searches in FiNDit and limit your search results to your required multimedia format using the Resource Type option on the left of the screen (you may need to click the more... link to reveal the full list).  Options include Audio, Images and Videos.  Check the Subject Guides for shortlists of those multimedia databases which are most relevant for your subject area.

The Library has a number of DVDs and CDs available for you to borrow.  All videorecordings and software can be found through FiNDit.  To find a DVD conduct a title search for the name of the programme (e.g. Hot Docs) and limit your search to Videos using the Resource Type option on the left of the screen (you may need to click the more... link to reveal this option).  Each library has equipment to allow you to watch DVDs. Please ask at the library desk for assistance.

Note: To access these resources off campus, you initially need to register for your own account from a PC on campus.  This is an Informit process which links your details with our institutional account.
