The St Teresa's Library supports the programs of the Schools of Arts & Science, Business, Education, Health Sciences, Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery and Philosophy & Theology. The Library is housed in a converted warehouse building (ND17) located in the Bateman Courtyard and is comprised of two floors.
The Ground Floor houses a portion of the Library’s physical collections including reserve, the health collection and main print collections (Dewey range 000 – 399). The service desk provides information, research and IT support and a number of study spaces on this floor provide a flexible range of study options, including five bookable group study rooms for group collaboration, a tutorial room for small research skills sessions and two silent study rooms. Colour copier/printers are also located on this floor.
The Mezzanine Floor houses the Library’s serials collection and main print collections (Dewey 400 – 999). Both floors provide access to open access PCs, group study tables and study carrels. The entire Library has wireless access and the staff at the IT service desk can assist students to access this network via their personal computing devices.
In 2024 the St Teresa's Library is undergoing an exciting refurbishment project and when complete will house the library's entire print collection. For the duration of the construction works, the library's core collection is available at Galvin Library (ND35) on Henry St, along with library support and services.
