Web searching

While web searching tools such as Google and Google Scholar are not considered databases, they can be useful for finding scholarly resources and grey literature. See the Grey Literature guide linked below for more help.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a web tool by Google that indexes scholarly materials, theses, and some types of grey literature. It is best used in conjunction with discipline-specific databases. Make sure to link Google Scholar to Notre Dame databases.
