Kathryn Hird (Associate Dean, Research - School of Medicine) shares her inspiring work on student-led Wikipedia editing to provide free, accurate medical information to people worldwide and the critical role of collaboration in its development.

International Open Access Week is organised by SPARC (Scholarly Publishing and Academic Resources Coalition) in partnership with the Open Access Week Advisory Committee.

OA Week 2025 runs from 20-26 October, with the theme Who owns our knowledge? This theme asks a pointed question about the present moment and how, in a time of disruption, communities can reassert control over the knowledge they produce.
