John 1:35-51

This depiction of Jesus and His disciples “captures the crowds, the sense of purpose, and the joy of following Jesus” (Sink, 2013, p. 262).
The image is overwhelming upon first glance, but a closer look reveals the figures of Jesus, angels, a lamb, and a number of indistinct individuals (University of Portland, 2013). The figure of Jesus (at the centre in white) almost blends in with the other figures present which is a reflection of His humanity and connection to those around Him (Sink, 2013).
