AMA video example

 

AMA Manual cover[3.14.1]

Use this format if:

  • You are accessing an online video on a streaming platform (e.g. YouTube).

Minimum information needed (in bold):

  • Author/Host
  • Video title (in italics, in sentence case)
  • Publisher/Distributor
  • Date (Month, Day, Year if possible)
  • Accessed date
  • URL

Important notes:

  • Do not italicise the title for webinars
  • The host may be given as the author.
  • The distributor may be given as the publisher. 
  • For citation of TV programs see rule 3.14.5 in the AMA Manual of Style.
